Role: Senior Personal Injury Claims Handler
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Bolton
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 (depending on PI/Credit Hire expertise + CII level)

About the Opportunity

We're working with a well-established insurance business expanding its Personal Injury department. Theyre looking for a Senior PI Claims Handler who can independently manage complex and high-value cases, contribute to decision-making, and act as a technical point of support for the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of complex PI claims.

• Lead liability investigations, including your own enquiries.

• Make decisions on high-value and multi-track cases.

• Work with internal departments to drive claim strategy.

• Handle litigation where needed, seeing files through end-to-end.

• Support less experienced handlers with technical guidance.

• Deliver an outstanding service to customers, suppliers and partners.

Skills and Experience

• Significant PI claims experience (multi-track preferred).

• Strong technical capability in liability and quantum.

• Able to independently run complex cases.

• Excellent investigative and decision-making ability.

• Confident prioritising a busy, varied caseload.

• CII qualified (or working towards) DIP/ACII desirable.

• Strong relationship-building skills.
